Autobiography

Hi

My name is Valeria Araya and I am 20 years old. I was born on July 22 of 2001 in Santiago, Chile. After I was born my parents decided to go to live in La Serena until I was 3 years old. I am currently living in Santiago with my mom Carmen, my dad Pablo and my brothers Juan Pablo who is 16 and Vicente who is 11.   

I studied all my life at the same school, Lincoln College in the commune of Huechuraba. I never liked science subjects, but I had very good grades in math and history. I also liked sports and when I was 11 I started practicing karate until I was 14, then I stopped liking it and I didn't feel motivated so I quit. I think my experience at school was very good and I have very good memories with my friends. 

I graduated from high school in 2019 and I was clear that I wanted to study architecture because I have always liked everything related to art, especially painting and doing manual things, so that was one of the reasons why I chose my career, so I took the PSU test and entered the University of Chile in 2020. 

I am currently in the second year of my career and until now I have liked it a lot, even though you have to work a lot and sometimes stay up late.
