Blog 5: My future job

Hi everyone! Today a will talk about my future job. 

First of all I have to say that there are some things that I am still not very clear about my future job, because I am just finishing my second year of studies and I believe that many of my thoughts and tastes can change in a few more years. But one of the things that I know for sure and that I really want to do is travel, maybe study or work outside of Chile for some time to have different experiences and perspectives about the architecture. I still don't know what major I would like to take, but I really like the areas of urban planning and heritage. When I finish studying my career, I plan to do a postgraduate of sustainable architecture or something related to landscape and green infrastructure, that would be a great complement if I follow the major of urbanism. 

I would like to try different types of working both indoors and outdoors, but I think its more interesting to be working outside than spending a lot of time inside an office. In relation to salary, the truth is that I am not very informed about that yet, although before entering to study I heard a lot the myth that the salaries of architects were low because the labor field was very full, but as in any job that can vary depending on many things.
