Blog 3: Movies and/or series that you would recommend

Hi everyone, today I will talk about a series that I started watching a while ago and I think it is one of the best I have seen.

American Horror Story is a series, as its name says, of horror and suspense that premiered in 2011. It was created and directed by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who have also worked together on other famous series like Glee and Scream Queens.

AHS has 10 seasons and 3 more are confirmed for the next few years. All seasons are independent of each other and each one is about different themes related to terror like spirits, witches or a killer clown. Something I like about this series is that many of the actors and actresses participate in most of the seasons but playing different roles like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange and others. 

I liked it a lot because it is a different from what I was used to seeing and I think that everything is very well done, from the different plots, the scenarios they use in each season, the sound effects, everything helps to generate an atmosphere that keeps you in suspense. 

Until now I think my favorite seasons have been the first "murder house" and the second "asylum". In general terms, the first is about a family that moves to an old house where many people have died and they must live with their spirits. And the second happens in a asylum in the 60s, where they lock up a man who supposedly had murdered his wife and a journalist who was investigating the case, who must witness horrible events such as the satanic possession of a nun. 

Now I'm watching the 5th season on Amazon and if you like the horror-suspense genre and the long series, I recommend you watch it.
